Hello!
Hi! My Name is Emily Furse. Thank you for taking time to check out my website. I have been in the education field for over 10 years now. I fell in love with teaching when I was a senior in high school when I spent the last few months of my senior year doing an internship in a kindergarten class. From that experience, a seed was planted and I decided to get my degree in Elementary Education. I spent the next few years getting my degree with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education from Utah Valley University. While in College, I was employed at an after school program teaching first grade.
After College, I taught first grade for 4 years in Ogden School District. After adopting our first child, I decided it was time for me to go part time and was able to spend the next 5 years teaching morning kindergarten. I loved it so much! We recently moved to Foxboro and teaching preschool is my current endeavor.
I have the valuable experience of knowing what is expected of kindergartners and first graders.
I have a passion for teaching kids how to love school, learning and books. I am friendly and open with parents. I will make learning fun and social. I will complete assessments, and do small group centers each day with your child. I will also host parent teacher conferences and provide information to help your child have a successful start to kindergarten.
